We recommend servicing your aircon every 3 to 6 months to maintain efficiency and prevent breakdowns. For heavy usage areas like kitchens or server rooms, monthly servicing may be needed.
A chemical overhaul is a deep clean of your aircon’s internal components, including areas that are not reachable during general servicing. Over time, water jelly or slime can build up behind the cooling coil, where it's not accessible during regular maintenance. This can lead to blockages, dripping water, and reduced cooling efficiency. If you notice persistent issues, such as water dripping or your aircon not cooling well despite general servicing, a chemical overhaul may be necessary to thoroughly clean these hidden areas.
You can track your service schedule through the Airple app. The app also sends you reminders for your upcoming appointments.
Airple offers a Customer Promise Policy for the exact reason. If we are the one who caused the problem, we’ll fix it too. We also offer a 30-day warranty for non-contract general servicing. If your aircon leaks due to insufficient cleaning within this period, we will revisit at no additional cost to resolve the issue.
If your aircon is blowing out warm air or not cooling effectively, it may be due to low refrigerant levels, which could require a gas top-up. If gas top-ups are required frequently, it is a clear sign of a major leak somewhere in the system. Our technicians can perform a pressure test to assess refrigerant levels, help identify the source of the leak, and repair it to prevent further issues.

ThermArctic Sanitizing uses high-pressure steam to sanitize your aircon without chemicals, making it a good alternative for regular maintenance. It effectively breaks down grease, grime, and dirt. Chemical Cleaning is another option for deeper cleaning when necessary, but both methods are effective in maintaining your aircon’s performance.

General servicing includes cleaning of filters, fan coil, and outer panels, as well as unclogging drainage pipes. Whenever possible, we also dismantle the blower and water drainage tray pan for a thorough clean. For models that cannot be dismantled without taking apart the entire indoor unit, we ensure that the components are still cleaned sufficiently to maintain optimal performance.
If you notice your aircon is not cooling or you hear hissing sounds, it could indicate a refrigerant leak. Our technicians can perform a thorough pressure test to locate and fix the leak.
